Domestic Abuse Intervention Services Madison, WI

DAIS works to empower those affected by domestic violence and advocates for social change through support, education, and outreach. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we hope to education the community about the many aspects of domestic violence, as well as our services.

Volunteers will be asked to post fliers around the community or campus which highlight our free services for those affected by domestic abuse in Dane County.

Exchange Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse Dane County, WI

Our mission is to prevent physical child abuse and neglect by identifying high-risk families in Dane County and teaching them positive parenting skills through in-home visiting programs.

We are looking for volunteers to help design, write and distribute our inaugural electronic newsletter. We would like to have a quarterly newsletter and don't have much experience in that area. It would be very helpful to have somebody with some design experience and also somebody with some writing experience. We have some ideas of what we'd like in the newsletter - which will only be electronic.
